Lawyer Massimo Moretto

Massimo Moretto (Chioggia, 29 July 1961) is a member of the Venice Bar Association and of the Brussels Barreau list of European lawyers. He is qualified since 2011 to defend before the Court of Cassation and other higher courts. He has resided in Brussels since 1991. Massimo graduated with honours in law from the University of Ferrara in 1986. After studying for a diplomatic career (SIOI in Milan, Ecole Nationale d’Administration in Paris), he started working as a lawyer, first in Milan and since 1991 in Brussels, as an associate and then as a partner in charge of the Brussels office of a renowned Italian law firm. In 1995, he obtained a master’s degree in European Judicial Studies from the European Institute of Public Administration in Luxembourg. In 1998, he founded his own firm in Brussels. Massimo has co-authored several editions of the Customs Code for the publisher La Tribuna (from 2001 to 2014) and is the author of several publications on EU law.
