Lawyer Massimo Campa

Massimo Campa (Trieste, 30 December 1974) graduated with honours in law from University “Statale” of Milan in 1998. After completing his legal and notarial practice, he joined the Milan Bar in 2001 and has been practising law ever since. He has been qualified to defend before the Supreme Court of Cassation since 2012. In 2003, he studied at the School of Law of Columbia University in New York, specialising in international contracts. In 2016, he attended the specialisation course in corporate law at University “Statale” of Milan. From 1999 to 2014, he worked as an assistant to the chair of Institutions of Private Law at University “Statale” of Milan and University of “Insubria” of Como; since 2014, he has been working as an assistant to the chair of Civil Law at University “Statale” of Milan. He has published his own works in his fields of expertise in the magazine ” I Contratti” Ipsoa and as co-author “Codice degli Appalti” and “Codice della Sicurezza nei luoghi di lavoro” edited by UTET. In 2002 he founded his own firm, which is now Campa Avvocati.

Massimo coordinates the firm’s various practice areas, dealing mainly with M&A transactions, strategic corporate advisory, restructurings and EU law, anti-dumping and sanctions. He has significant experience in commercial, corporate and capital markets law. He advises Italian and international companies, private equity and infrastructure funds. He has extensive experience in handling M&A transactions (mergers, demergers, acquisitions or sale of shareholdings or companies, investment agreements and joint ventures) and insolvency proceedings, with particular reference to the assistance and drafting of crisis regulation instruments, including plans and proposals for composition with creditors. Massimo also handles administrative law at EU level, assisting companies and associations (national and European) in administrative and judicial proceedings relating to anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard measures, and economic sanctions. Massimo has also gained extensive experience in criminal law. Massimo is responsible for the “M&A and Private Equity”, “European Union, Antidumping and Sanctions” and “Restructuring and Insolvency” areas of Campa Avvocati. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of several companies.
