Campa Avvocati, with a team composed of Partners Massimo Campa and Marina Pirovano, successfully assisted a member of the board of directors in a liability action brought by the receivership of a company declared bankrupt, with claims for damages totalling more than EUR 20 million. This was a complex case, which involved a multiplicity of parties, including other members of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Statutory Auditors and the Auditing Firm, who were in turn the addressees of the action, which also led to the formulation of various claims for indemnity and recourse. At the outcome also of a significant expert witness phase, the case ended with the rejection of the claims of the receiver.
